Vacuum Lift - Drum Handling

Even in these days of high technology men & women are still faced with manipulating full drums on to pallets with little or no means of lifting aid. Applying the principle of vacuum lifting to this industrial problem the drum can become weightless for the operator and can be accurately positioned in place.

The recent use of fibre keg containers in industry has meant good news for the environmentalists, but not for factory managers. The keg lids are not always secured adequately to the body, causing problems for the standard top lifting methods either by vacuum or other mechanical aid. Palamatic has developed systems to side lift these kegs and drums so that they are securely held for stacking on to pallets.
